Overview

In Presidential elections, Rhode Island General Law 17-1-3 allows an individual who has missed the voter registration deadline to register to vote at their local Board of Canvassers on Election Day and vote for President/Vice-President only.

If you missed the deadline to register, you should contact your local Board of Canvassers to verify the location of their polling place for Voting for President/Vice-President Only.

In Providence, Voting for President/Vice-President Only will be conducted at the Dunkin' Donuts Center at 1 Lasalle Square, Providence, RI.
